INDIAN BANK INAUGURATES AMALGAMATED BRANCH IN CHENNAI

 

Consequent to amalgamation of Allahabad Bank with Indian Bank, Adyar Branch of erstwhile Allahabad Bank was merged with Indian Bank’s Adyar Branch. Shri V Shenoy Vishwanath , Executive Director, Indian Bank inaugurated the amalgamated Branch on 28.09.2020. Shri K. Chandra Reddy, FGM - Chennai, Shri A Palani ZM – Chennai South,Shri M Venkatesan ZM – Poonamalle, and Other Executives and customers of the Bank were present during the occasion.



Speaking on the occasion, Shri V Shenoy Vishwanath, Executive Director said that Indian Bank has 8 branches amalgamated so far in Chennai and 33 branches Pan India and  way forward will be amalgamating more than 325 branches which not only will help reduce costs but also provide services to the customers at lower costs. Indian Bank, the 7th largest PSB in the country, not only has Pan-India presence with its vast branch network after the amalgamation of Allahabad Bank, but also has bouquet of digital products like Internet Banking and Mobile Banking for customers to make their banking transactions anytime, anywhere. Further he added that Indian Bank during the Covid-19 pandemic has introduced All in one App IndOasis for bouquet of Banking services and very recently has also introduced the SMS facility for the prospective customers of Home loan, Mortgage loan and vehicle loan. He also thanked the customers and sought their continued patronage.

Ford India Ensures Safety & Convenience for Customers With Doorstep Service

 

  • Doorstep Service to give Ford customers the flexibility of getting their Ford vehicle serviced, at a place of their convenience

                                                       

  • Service launched in Delhi/NCR, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Lucknow, Pune, Aurangabad, Ahmedabad, Thane, Cochin and Trivandrum  
  • Ford experts to service the car - at home or office - at no additional charge; To cover periodic maintenance, oil and filter replacement, dry-washing, general check-up etc.


                                                         


Raising the bar on customer convenience & safety, Ford India has introduced Doorstep Service empowering owners to get their Ford vehicle serviced wherever they want – home or office – at no additional charge. 

 

This latest offering expands Ford’s bouquet of consumer-focused initiatives launched under Dial-A-Ford where all sales & service queries get addressed via the helpline.  

 

In its first phase, the company has launched Doorstep Service in the following cities:

 

  • (North) Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Ghaziabad, Faridabad, Jaipur, Lucknow
  • (South) Bangalore, Chennai, Cochin and Trivandrum, Hyderabad
  • (East) Kolkata, Bhubaneshwar
  • (West) Mumbai, Thane, Pune, Aurangabad, Ahmedabad

 

Ford customers residing in the cities (mentioned) can book the Doorstep Service by fixing an appointment with the nearest Ford dealership or via the Dial-A-Ford toll-free number.

 

Performed by trained Ford experts, the Doorstep Service includes essential vehicle check-ups, part replacements such as filters, oil replacement and dry-washing among other activities covered under scheduled service.

 

The customers will have the flexibility to make online payments post the service. For concerns that may not get addressed on-the-spot, the technical team will take the vehicle to the nearest service centre.

 

Doorstep Service is offered to customers at no additional cost.

Indian Bank launches another Green-Tech Initiative, ‘IB-eNote’ on 28.09.2020

 

Indian Bank, a premier Public Sector Bank, has today launched another green initiative, IB-eNote that enables a totally paperless working environment. The IB e-Note is a tool that enables processing and tracking of notes put up by various offices digitally. This green initiative is expected to improve Turnaround Time considerably, besides saving on cost of paper, printing and other administrative expenses. For this Bank has customised SharePoint, which is one of the features of Microsoft Office. Microsoft is a leading technology company that has pioneered many industry-firsts.



Bank’s endeavor is to achieve greater efficiencies by consistently empowering its biggest asset – human resources/ staff members. And with IB e-Note, Bank is taking another step in that direction.

Speaking on the occasion, MD & CEO Indian Bank Ms. Padmaja Chunduru said that the Bank has a strong technology back bone with state-of-art IT infrastructure, enabling the introduction and seamless functioning of many digital banking products like mobile apps, net banking, cards, POS, QR Code-based payments and fastags, “the latest product Ind Oasis, the all-in-one mobile app has been received very well by our customers. Bank’s commitment to providing an omni-channel experience to our customers came in handy when the COVID pandemic struck. The customers were quickly able to adopt our easy and secure digital banking payment solutions. Bank also launched ‘Ind Guru’, an e-learning platform for all our employees. This tech enabled solution which aims at capacity building of the Human Resources in the bank, offers - access to on-demand, secure anytime, anywhere learning (through web portal as well as mobile app), self-paced learning, content across divisions to ensure cross-functional learning and skill development. As on date, 34,450 employees of the amalgamated entity have enrolled in the LMS and the adoption rate is 93%. With the successful amalgamation of Allahabad Bank into Indian Bank from 1st April 2020, Indian Bank has the strength and scale to come out with further innovations to improve offerings to our customers” she said.

Delivering his address during the launch event of IB-eNote, Mr. Sashi Sridharan, MD Microsoft India said ‘Process Automation and this digital work flow tool will be one among the many other initiatives of the Bank to drive digital transformation and to address the NewGen Customers to serve them ’ and appreciated this green aspect of Indian Bank’s initiative, IB-eNote.

Federal Bank Offers EMI on Debit Cards to Customers for Purchase of Two Wheelers

Federal Bank introduces EMI facility for holders of Federal Bank Debit Cards to purchase two wheelers. Eligible customers of Federal Bank can own their favorite two wheeler by making a payment of ₹ 1/- at 947 showrooms of Hero MotoCorp, Honda Motorcycle and TVS Motor. The financing process involves no paper work or bank visit and is done completely online. Unlike conventional two-wheeler loans, hypothecation in favor of the Bank is not required for vehicles purchased on Debit Card EMI from Federal Bank. Customers can choose a repayment period of 3/6/9/12 months. There is no processing fee charged on loans under this scheme.


Customers who purchase two wheelers from 793 Honda Motorcycle showrooms across the country availing EMI on Debit Card from Federal Bank will also get a cash back of 5% as festival offer. Customers can check their eligibility for EMI by sending an SMS in the format DC<space>EMI to 5676762 or giving a missed call to 7812900900. 


With sale of passenger vehicles and two wheelers showing an upward trend on the back of demand spurred by festive season and social distancing protocols and a reduction in GST for two wheelers on the cards, this option of easy finance and cash back offer is expected to give further impetus for Federal Bank customers wishing to own brand-new two wheelers. INDIAN BANK CONDUCTS Vehicle Loan Mela at Field General Manager’s Office Chennai

 

 “Vehicle Loan Mela”  was organised by  Indian Bank Field General Manager’s Office, Chennai on 24th & 25th September,2020 covering seven branches in four Zones of Chennai  viz; Chennai North, Chennai South , Poonamalle & Kanchipuram.



Mr. K. Chandra Reddy, FGM Chennai along with Mr. N. N. Saha, General Manager, Retail Assets, Corporate Office inaugurated the Mela. Executives from Marketing Department Corporate Office, Zonal Managers & Branch Managers have participated in the Mela.

The response was very encouraging and vehicle loans to the tune of Rs.6.02 crores were sanctioned to the 72 various customers.

Indian Bank launched “Festival Bonanza” for Home Loan & Vehicle Loan from 01.09.2020 to 31.01.2021 with attractive rate of interest and with special concessions to the women borrowers.
