Hindi
Day Celebrations, 2020 were organized on 14.09.2020 at Indian Bank, Corporate
Office, Chennai. During the function, prizes were distributed to the winners of
the online Quiz Competition conducted for the Executives.
The
programme was presided over by Ms. Padmaja Chunduru, Managing Director and
Chief Executive Officer of Indian Bank. Shri M.K. Bhattacharya, Executive
Director; Shri V.V. Shenoy, Executive Director; Mr. K. Ramchandran, Executive
Director and other Executives graced the occasion.
Ms.
Padmaja Chunduru, MD & CEO, Indian Bank addressed the prize winners and
other Executives during the function.
Ms.
Padmaja Chunduru, MD & CEO said that Hindi is a popular also official
language of the country and it plays an important role in customer service. She
said that simple Hindi should be used. She also said that Indian Bank has
always encouraged the propagation of official language, Hindi. She
also appealed to the Executives to learn Hindi and use it in their official work.
MD
& CEO congratulated the Official Language Department, Corporate Office for
receiving the 'Rajbhasha Kirti Puraskar' which was awarded by Govt. of India
for the Bank's quarterly In-house Hindi Magazine 'Ind Chhavi'. She
also congratulated Official Language Officers of erstwhile Allahabad Bank for
receiving the Rajbhasha Kirti Puraskar for OL implementation for the year
2019-20.
On
this occasion, a video (“Rajbhasha - An introduction”) prepared for online
training was digitally inaugurated by MD & CEO.
Prizes
were distributed to the winners of the online Quiz competition conducted for Executives
during the function.
